Hidden Gem Safari Debug Menu

Sunday, January 15th, 2006

screengrab of Safari Debug MenuAs with many applications there are hidden gems that we are never aware of until somebody points them out. I personally wasn’t aware of this fantastic feature that Safari has to offer until John Baxendale pointed it out to me.

Open Terminal (/applications/utilities/terminal.app)

Enter the following and hit return

defaults write com.apple.Safari IncludeDebugMenu 1

Restart Safari or fire it up if it’s not open, you should now see a new menu titled Debug after the Help.

Yes I’m aware this is old news, but worth a post for the non-aware people. Happy Debugging!
